Aligning Policy, Investment, and Finance with Community Realities

We work with activists, CSOs, governments and funders to make climate policy and more just, inclusive, and accountable. From policy and public budgets to climate finance and investment tools, our ReAlign programme ensures that decisions shaping the future of African communities are based on grounded, just, and locally relevant knowledge.

HAKI Lab – Hub for Activist Knowledge & Influence

The HAKI Hub is our activist support lab. We work with grassroots organisers, community leaders, and movement builders to align their lived knowledge and organising power with the tools, strategies, and systems needed to influence climate policy, public budgets, and investment decisions. 

SIRA – Solidarity in Regional Action

SIRA — Solidarity in Regional Action — strengthens African-led, community-rooted influence in regional and continental decision-making. We amplify and align frontline priorities across the African Union, regional economic communities (RECs), and global climate platforms to ensure the voices of those most affected by climate change shape the decisions that matter most. 

PESA - Participatory & Equitable Systems of Allocation

We support and scale participatory funding models that shift decision-making power to those most affected by the climate crisis, while  advocating for creative, community-defined impact measurement that redefines value for money through lived experience, collective wellbeing, and climate justice outcomes.
